TEKsystems seeks an IT Help Desk Technician for a contract role in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role is on-site at production facilities and involves triaging user issues, supporting tickets, and maintaining hardware in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has an IT-related associate degree or relevant experience, strong Windows/AD skills, and solid communication. ERP/CRM familiarity and MS Office proficiency are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an IT-related field or relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting a technical environment in a help desk capacity.
• Microsoft Office awareness (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multitask.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Triage user issues and requests.
• Respond to help desk tickets via phone, email, and walk-up requests.
• Manage tickets in the Help Desk ticketing system.
• Identify, research, and resolve IT problems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain computer systems connected to production equipment.
• Configure and deploy user hardware.
• Support ISO and quality system requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Participate in required company meetings and 5S.
