Job summary

Agile Defense in Huntsville, AL is seeking an IT Customer Service Technician to provide end-user support, respond to inquiries, diagnose hardware and software issues, and assist with desktop, mobile, printers, and VTC setups.

This on-site role requires a Secret clearance, active IAT Level I certification, and at least two years of IT or technical customer service experience; Security+ is preferred.

Strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to work with DoD systems are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Must obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of start.
• At least 2 years of IT or technical customer service experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows 11, Beyond Trust, MS Office.
• Experience with SCCM (Systems Center Configuration Manager).
• Experience with VPN and VTC.
• Experience with Windows 11 tool and RDP.
• Some DoD/W experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• End user support, ticket response, resolution, and escalation for apps/SP.
• Respond to inquiries from computer users and assist in resolving IT problems; diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Respond to calls and use the service desk to assist customers with computer/software problems.
• Guide users through problem-solving steps and provide technical assistance for hardware/software.
• Be proficient with government software/hardware and provide guidance and issue resolution.
• Provide technical assistance including logging, routing, resolving trouble calls, and follow-up reporting.
• Operate and support computer equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Operate and assist with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and meeting equipment.
• Other duties as assigned to support IT operations and mission goals.
