Job summary

Magellan Financial is hiring an IT Help Desk I for our Topeka headquarters. This full-time, in-office role is the first line of technology support for employees across operations, including advisor work, annuity workflows, marketing, recruiting, and events.

You’ll troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, user accounts, PCs, peripherals, printers, and basic network issues; image and configure workstations; and document outcomes to improve future responses and the broader environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of IT help desk/desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, user accounts, hardware, printers, A/V, and basic networking.
• Willingness to work in-person at Topeka headquarters.
• Strong documentation and escalation habits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, user accounts, PCs, peripherals, printers, basic network issues.
• Image, deploy, repair, upgrade, and configure workstations and desk technology.
• Explain issues clearly, set expectations, and close the loop after fixes.
• Document completed work and recurring problems for faster future responses.
