Job summary

Connected Technology, LLC is seeking a dependable Field Services Technician to install and service IT and security systems across Long Island and nearby New York locations. You will install cabling, cameras, access control, wireless networks, and VoIP systems; troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft 365; and support senior engineers on client sites.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in IT/field service, strong customer service, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

1-3+ years of IT, low-voltage, telecom, field service or related experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to think independently and solve problems.
Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and use ladders safely.

Responsibilities

Install cabling, cameras, access control devices, wireless networks, computers, printers, and VoIP systems.
Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking issues.
Document work in the ticketing platform.
Assist with office moves and technology refresh projects.
Provide on-site support and assist senior engineers on client sites.
