Sourcepass in Melville, NY is seeking an Internal IT Engineer responsible for user provisioning and helping employees resolve IT issues. The schedule is Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm EST, onsite at our headquarters.

The role includes asset management, software configuration, network security, and user guidance on equipment operation. Candidates should have 2–5 years of technical support, experience with Azure and Office 365, and relevant certifications with A+ and Network+ expected within a year.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of technical support experience.
• Experience with Azure, Office 365, SonicWall and HP devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently or in a team.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provision and de-provision user accounts for employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Asset management and allocation for laptops, monitors, docking stations, webcams, headsets.
• Check hardware functionality and ensure software configurations per specifications.
• Maintain security and privacy of networks and computersystems.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on software and equipment.
• Maintain records of support interactions in ConnectWise.
• Act as liaison between vendors and employees for open vendor support requests.
