Job summary

Sourcepass, Inc. is seeking an Internal IT Engineer to manage user accounts and equipment provisioning and assist employees with IT issues.

This on-site role in Melville, NY runs Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm EST with a salary of $60,000-$70,000. Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, asset management (laptops, monitors, docking stations, webcams, headsets), hardware checks, software configuration, security of networks, and vendor liaison for support requests.

Qualifications

• Provision and de-provision user accounts for employee offboarding.
• Asset management and allocation including laptops, monitors, docking stations, webcams, headsets.
• Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards) to ensure functionality.
• Install and configure software per specifications.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on software and equipment.
• Organize diagnostic testing around employee availability to minimize impact.
• Troubleshoot to diagnose and resolve problems (repair/replace parts).
• Maintain records of support interactions in ConnectWise.

Description

As an Internal IT Engineer, you will be responsible for user account and equipment provisioning as well as assisting employees with resolving their IT-related issues. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm EST onsite at our headquarters office in Melville, NY. The salary for this position is $60,000-$70,000.

Desired Skillset/ Experience

• Technical Support Experience: 2-5 Years (Preferred)
• Experience working with Azure (A plus)
• Experience working with Office 365 (Preferred)
• Experience working with SonicWall devices (Preferred)
• Experience working with HP Devices (Preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to Prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven Experience as a?Technical?Support Analyst?or relevant position
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ will be required within 1 year of hire.

Microsoft, Apple, SonicWall, Cisco, and other IT vendor certifications desirable.

• Maintain records of support interactions and time spent in ConnectWise (communication, diagnostics tests / results)
• Identify and document computer or network equipment warranty issues and communicate them internally.
• Act as a liaison between vendors and employees for open vendor support requests
