Job summary

VSO in Andover, MA is seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk/Desktop Support specialist for onsite work under a government contract.

You will perform IMAC tasks, image loads, asset tagging, printer support, and client center assistance while maintaining workstation operations and customer satisfaction. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within IT service management and infrastructure support.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience in Desktop Support is desired, however training will be provided for entry-level hires.
• Knowledge of PC Imaging.
• Experience with change management and incident management.
• Experience with using tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink and Secure Disk Wipe.

• Provide Workstation Software Break Fix support
• IMAC – PC Install, Moves, Adds and Changes
• Image Loads
• Asset Recovery
• Asset tagging
• Printer Support
• Client Center (Tech Bar) Support
• IT Service Management Updates
• Other Client Support duties needed to maintain Workstation operations and customer satisfaction may be assigned
