Job summary

Setag seeks a Desktop Support Technician to deliver on-site IT assistance to end-users in client environments in San Jose, CA. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, install equipment, and ensure desktop systems run smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking ability, and a customer-focused mindset. Experience in Help Desk or IT Desktop Support is preferred; knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service abilities; detail oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Help Desk, IT Desktop Support, or Network Support Technician roles is preferred.
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware/software across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues on client sites.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, smartphones, and related peripherals.
• Document user calls and resolutions; communicate technical concepts in simple terms to end users.
