Job summary

Zones, LLC is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for on-site support in Richmond, VA. This 5+ month position runs Monday to Friday, 8-5, with pay up to $31.25 per hour.

The role requires 8+ years’ experience with OS/app installation, printers, projectors, and end-user support, including remote and on-site contexts. You will resolve issues via phone and tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software, and help maintain escalation procedures across locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting software, printers, projectors, and user issues.
• Experience in executive/site support, remote and onsite dispatch as needed.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Respond and resolve IT issues via phone and tickets.
• Install operating systems and user applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot printers of all types.
• Maintain deskside operations procedures and escalation lists.
• Support critical situations and manage staffing levels for locations.
• Participate in compliance activities and audit readiness.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate clearly to users.
