Job summary

Avel eCare seeks an IT Operations Technician I to support deployment, configuration, and testing of network equipment and end-user devices for our nationwide virtual health network. This on-site role in Sioux Falls, SD involves onboarding customers, troubleshooting connectivity, and managing asset logistics with cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and network diagnostic tools preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to configure, test, and deploy IT equipment and end-user devices.

Responsibilities

• Configures, tests, and deploys equipment and software for Avel and customer devices.
• Manages mobile solutions including Cradlepoint, Workspace One, Samsung Knox services.
• Creates KB articles for troubleshooting deployed services.
• Assists customers during implementation and go-live testing with technical support.
• Performs network troubleshooting and diagnostics for connectivity issues.
• Pack, ship, receive, and track IT equipment with proper documentation.
• Collaborates with IT teams to coordinate deployments and project requirements.
• Provides Tier 2-3 support for deployment activities.
• Interacts with end-users to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintains logs and inventories and related documentation.
