Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or higher in IT or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing IT hardware and software assets.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in IT asset management systems (Asset Panda, ServiceNow).
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams for procurement.
• Familiarity with equipment lease administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work across departments.
• Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software configurations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain accurate records of IT assets inventory across computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and other equipment.
• Coordinate ordering and procurement of IT equipment and supplies with IT vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Track assignment, location, and status of all IT assets using asset management systems.
• Proactively reclaim equipment when not in use or when employees separate.
• Manage equipment lease agreements and ensure documentation for leased and owned equipment.
• Schedule and perform semi-annual inventory audits for accuracy and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to manage hardware refresh cycles and change management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of asset management activities and procedures.
• Generate and present reports on inventory status, lifecycle, and costs.
• Provide guidance and support to end users regarding equipment requests and issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset management processes and implement best practices.
