Job summary

COCC is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to support and maintain its tech infrastructure on-site in Essex, CT. This role covers Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, M365, virtualization, patching, security controls, backups, and disaster recovery, with vendor coordination.

The candidate will have at least four years in systems administration, a Bachelor’s in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or equivalent, and strong scripting and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of systems administration or infrastructure experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• Experience in banking or another regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and access controls, and reviews.
• Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot systems and hardware.
• Patch, harden, and remediate vulnerabilities; administer security controls.
• Review security alerts, investigate findings, and raise incidents and risks.
• Back up and recover data, test restorations, and support disaster recovery.
