Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and core infrastructure in a hybrid environment
• Support cloud services, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, and endpoint management systems
• Maintain, secure, and troubleshoot core network infrastructure, including firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and secure remote access technologies
• Implement and maintain security controls, endpoint protection, patching, and remediation activities
• Participate in monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, upgrades, and ongoing infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Use scripting and systems management tools to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency

Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support the performance, security, and reliability of their technology environment. This hands-on role covers enterprise infrastructure, cloud and identity platforms, networking, and security operations across on-premises and cloud systems. This is an onsite position based in Hartford County, CT.

Senior Systems Administrator's Responsibilities And Duties

• Administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and core infrastructure in a hybrid environment
• Support cloud services, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, and endpoint management systems

Senior Systems Administrator's Qualifications And Skills

• At least 5 years of systems administration experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
• Strong M365 administration experience
• Hands-on experience with server and virtualization platforms
• Networking capabilities required, with firewall expertise a must and wireless infrastructure experience a plus
• Experience supporting enterprise environments, ideally with 500+ end users
• Working knowledge of security, patching, access controls, and endpoint protection practices
