Job summary

RTX is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support our cybersecurity team onsite at the El Segundo facility in California. You will work with the ISSM to ensure compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, JSIG policies and maintain security education across the team.

The role requires a university degree (or advanced degree) and experience in cybersecurity, RMF, and compliance. A U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start, and U.S. citizenship is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree.
• Experience with RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, or HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with information technology, databases, operating systems, networks, or hardware.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for system compliance, auditing, security plan development, and delivering information systems security education.
• Assist in investigating information system security violations and prepare reports on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives.
• Security sustainment activities including hardware/software change management and media protection.
