Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Supply Chain Services Associate to manage on-site inventory, restock vending/VMI assets, and support the customer at a client location. You will collaborate with the Supply Chain Services Manager and the account team to uphold service standards and inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, adherence to protocols, and continuous learning in inventory management tools and best practices to ensure optimal service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year of inventory management experience.
• Familiarity with VMI systems and vending machines.
• Customer-focused service mindset.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess inventory levels.
• Effective verbal communication in customer-facing environments.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Self-driven and responsible to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Directly engage in restocking vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs, ensuring inventory levels meet standards.
• Provide first-hand assistance to onsite customer queries related to inventory or tool usage.
• Log and track inventory used, restocked, or requested per protocols.
• Maintain awareness of KPI goals and collaborate with managers to meet them.
• Identify and address potential stockouts during fills and coordinate with managers to implement solutions.
• Adhere to inventory protocols, cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
