Job summary

PPG is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to maintain accurate inventory records and optimize processes at our Sylmar, California plant. This onsite role supports manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams to drive data accuracy and efficient material flow.

You will lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with production to ensure standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years of inventory control experience, with ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in supply chain, business analytics, finance, logistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control or related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
• US citizenship, green card, or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate discrepancies.
• Track material movements to align system with physical inventory.
• Improve inventory control procedures and transaction processes.
• Analyze transaction errors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with production to ensure adherence to processes and data accuracy.
• Contribute to initiatives improving system reliability and production reporting.
