PPG is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to maintain inventory accuracy, optimize processes, and support production success through effective inventory management and system improvements. This onsite role is based at the Sylmar, California plant and provides direct support to manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or related area.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.

• Analyze transaction errors to identify key drivers and implement sustainable corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
• Partner with production teams to drive adherence to standard processes and improve data accuracy.
• Contribute to initiatives that increase system reliability, enabling better production performance and reporting accuracy.

As an Inventory Control Analyst at PPG, you'll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing processes, and supporting production success through effective inventory management and system improvements.

This is an onsite position located at our Sylmar, California plant and will provide direct support to manufacturing operations and cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within ERP/MRP systems
• Execute cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies
• Track material movement across warehouse and production areas to ensure system alignment with physical inventory
• Evaluate and continuously improve inventory control procedures and transaction processes
• Analyze transaction errors to identify key drivers and implement sustainable corrective actions to eliminate root causes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Finance, Logistics, or related field required
• 3 or more years of experience in inventory control, materials management, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or a related discipline
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $89.000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 4.5% of base salary.
