Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service engineer to install and commission linear accelerators and imaging systems at customer sites. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex equipment while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related program preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, RF energy producing devices, and electronic cooling systems.
• Proficient in the use of test equipment used for verification and calibration of electronic equipment.
• Basic networking skills to integrate the machine onto the customer server.
• Knowledge of PC-based systems and strong customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems, perform diagnoses, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment.
• Check operational quality of system equipment and approve it.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects and facilitate resolution.
