Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Physical Therapist to provide onsite PT services at a large-scale construction project in Ohio. The role focuses on injury prevention, early intervention, functional improvement, and ergonomic risk reduction, supporting worker health and safety.

You will collaborate with occupational health, safety, HR, and leadership teams to shape the program, promote safe work performance, and reduce injury-related costs while delivering high-quality care on site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent).
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 2–5 years of clinical Physical Therapy experience required.
• Experience in occupational health, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, or sports medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite physical therapy evaluations and interventions within scope of practice and state regulations.
• Deliver early intervention services to address musculoskeletal discomfort before recordable injury occurs.
• Identify cases requiring medical referral and coordinate appropriate escalation.
• Design and implement injury prevention and movement optimization programs.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and job task analyses.
• Support return-to-work and transitional duty programs through functional progression.
• Document all services accurately, timely, and in compliance with standards.
• Track and report trends, outcomes, and program effectiveness.
• Educate employees on body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health, Safety, HR, and leadership teams.
