Job summary

Dow is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician to support the Houston Hub (Deer Park, Lone Star, Bayport, and Texas City sites). You will share responsibility with the IH Specialist for implementing IH management system processes and conducting hands-on IH assessments.

The role requires ensuring IH and Health aspects of operating discipline meet performance goals, acting as the plant resource for IH information, and coaching teams. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant working experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Implement IH programs using the IH work processes, standards and procedures.
• Serve as plant IH contact and resource for procedures and guidelines.
• Coach teams on IH tasks and activities and help achieve IH goals.
• Coordinate IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Manage IH monitoring equipment and ensure timely return.
• Assist in IH reviews, audits and incident investigations with follow-up actions.
• Coordinate medical surveillance assignment with IH Expertise and Health Services.
