Job summary

Dow is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician for our Freeport, Texas site to support the IH management system and perform hands-on IH activities at the plant.

You will implement IH programs, conduct exposure risk assessments for chemicals, noise, ergonomics, and oversee IH monitoring, procedures, and equipment management in collaboration with H&S teams. Experience in manufacturing and safety preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/EHS preferred.
• Associate degree or military training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement IH programs using established IH processes and standards.
• Serve as IH resource for procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Conduct employee exposure risk assessments (chemicals, noise, ergonomics, radiation).
• Coordinate IH monitoring activities and data reporting.
• Lead audits scheduling and IH-related investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with IH Experts and Health Services for surveillance requirements.
