Job summary

Dow is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician in Freeport, Texas to support the IH program at the plant and assist the IH Specialist and IH Manager in implementing the IH management system. The role focuses on hands-on IH activities and ensuring compliance with IH standards.

You will perform exposure assessments for chemicals, noise, ergonomics and radiation, coordinate monitoring, and coach teams to achieve IH goals while supporting safety initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implements IH programs at plant level.
• Acts as Plant resource for IH procedures and guidelines.
• Performs employee exposure risk assessments (chemicals, noise, ergonomics, radiation).
• Coaches teams on IH tasks.
• Coordinates IH monitoring activities and reports.
• Monitors IH equipment and returns it timely.
