Job summary

Dow is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician for our Freeport, Texas site. You will support the IH management system, perform hands-on IH activities, and help ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

You will conduct exposure assessments for chemicals, noise, ergonomics and radiation, mentor teams, monitor equipment, and coordinate audits and investigations to prevent incidents. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Implements IH programs using established work processes, standards and procedures.
• Acts as IH resource for procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Performs and documents employee exposure risk assessments (chemicals, noise, ergonomics, radiation).
• Coordinates IH monitoring activities and reports results for plant.
• Supports audits and investigations and ensures corrective actions.
