Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician for the Houston Hub (Deer Park, Texas City and LaPorte, TX). You will implement EH&S management systems, provide hands-on environmental, industrial hygiene, and health and safety activities across one or more plants, and act as a resource to less experienced teammates.

You will monitor for deficiencies, drive corrective actions, and support plant EHS performance with strong collaboration across operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime and nights as needed.
• 3+ years of relevant EH&S experience.
• Must have current, valid US Driver’s License.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of EH&S work processes and plant operations; strong communication.
• Interpret and apply Dow Safety Standards and Policies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and participate in EH&S improvement opportunities and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement H&S management systems within areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate environmental and IH monitoring, data collection and reporting for the plant.
