Job summary

Performix is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Training & Documentation consultant with Industrial Engineer experience to standardize training materials across manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will observe floor processes, engage operators and SMEs, and translate improvements into clear SOPs, work instructions, and OJT resources.

The role emphasizes Lean/Continuous Improvement, practical documentation, and collaboration with Operations, CI teams, and supervisors to ensure training

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing, warehouse ops, industrial training or process engineering.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, or OJT materials.
• Ability to observe, engage operators, and translate processes into clear docs.
• Strong technical writing with practical, floor‑usable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Spend significant time on the production and warehouse floor observing processes and translating them into training documentation.
• Create and maintain SOPs, Standard Work, Job Instructions, and OJT materials to improve training, consistency, quality, safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors, engineers, quality, and supply chain to document current processes.
• Develop visual training materials with photos, diagrams, and process parameters.
• Establish document revision controls and maintain an organized system for current training materials.
• Support onboarding and cross‑training programs for manufacturing and warehouse staff.
