Job summary

DigiKey is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician in Minnesota to provide electrical and mechanical expertise and support the KNAPP automation system at the PDC Barzen facility.

You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical faults, calibrate precision equipment, and perform preventive maintenance while coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and team. This is an onsite role with possible overtime on weekends; the starting base pay is $26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-8 years of verifiable progressive experience in maintenance roles.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and read assembly drawings.
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation equipment and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and report PLC issues with safety focus.
• Maintain conveyor and precision automation equipment.
• Provide first-class support for automated storage and retrieval systems and respond to issues promptly.
• Calibrate precision automation equipment and ensure high uptime.
• Maintain clear documentation and reports for supervisors.
