Job summary

Berkshire Grey, Inc. seeks an Installation Lead to oversee on-site deployment of BG technology at customer sites from installation to system hand-off in Bedford, MA.

You will manage installation contractors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with building management to meet deployment criteria. The role emphasizes on-site leadership with no direct reports, cross-functional collaboration, timely issue resolution, and a focus on reducing downtime while tracking project

Qualifications

• Experience leading hardware installations and commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proven track record managing installation contractors.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and deployments of BG technology on customer sites from installation to hand-off.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
• Manage installation contractors and resolve deployment issues.
• Oversee on-site BG engineers and coordinate site tasks with management.
• Maintain customer relationships on-site and coordinate with building management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet installation criteria.
• Drive feedback to System Engineering teams and mitigate downtime.
• Track project metrics and ensure on-time progress within budget.
• Develop standardization processes to reduce installation time and cost.
• Oversee customer training and handoff for smooth integration.
• Note: role does not have direct reports.
