Job summary

Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, seeks an Implementation Consultant II for on-site work in Rochester, NY. You will guide moderately complex client implementations, focus on data conversion, and ensure successful onboarding, balancing legacy data with new configurations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer-facing roles and HCM consultation, with strong Excel skills and a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

3+ years in Customer Service or customer interfacing role.
3+ years in HCM consultation or payroll/HR.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least 2 years HCM implementation or 3 years HCM/payroll experience considered.
Knowledge of Paylocity products and processes preferred.
Strong client-centric mindset and excellent interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

Act as trusted advisor to clients during implementation.
Provide smooth transition and post-implementation support as needed.
Assist clients with data migration, mapping, and validation for data integration into HCM software.
Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements for payroll, HR, time, and labor.
Review configurations with clients to ensure alignment with needs and maximize system use.
Coordinate with sales, product SMEs, and project managers to ensure high-quality implementations.
Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues; escalate as needed.
Offer guidance on HCM best practices and change management strategies.
