Job summary

RWD Consulting, LLC seeks a Healthcare Simulation Operator in Bethesda, MD, onsite only. You will set up and break down simulation environments, configure manikins, AR/VR, and recording systems to support training events at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Simulation Center.

Responsibilities include operating simulation technologies during scenarios, maintaining equipment, performing preventative maintenance, managing SP recordings, and ensuring safety and readiness.

Qualifications

• Clinical background with at least 1 year in healthcare or a valid license/cert.
• At least 1 year of healthcare simulation operator experience.
• Ideal candidate has both clinical and simulation experience.
• Proficient with computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.
• Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and breakdown simulation environments for each event.
• Configure and test AR/VR, manikins, and AV systems.
• Operate simulation modalities during training, run scenario scripts.
• Manage SP recording and debrief processes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain inventory and data for training events.
