Job summary

RWD Consulting, LLC is seeking a Surgical Simulation Project Manager to provide operational support to the Department of Simulation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. The role offers a salary around $90k plus a full benefits package and requires US citizenship with no degree necessary.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining logs, proctoring FLS/FES exams, developing marketing materials, and coordinating with hospital departments to ensure training

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Read, write and speak English.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Surgical Technician/Technologist or equivalent.
• Certification training verified through ARC/STSA or CAAHEP

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of general correspondence and reports for continuing review and regulatory matters.
• Maintain logs of all correspondence related to surgical simulation training and testing requests.
• Complete FLS and FES exams as a test proctor certified by SAGES.
• Develop and disseminate marketing materials to promote training events.
• Track and replenish surgical skills related class VIII materials and consumables.
• Coordinate with DETR and SIM leadership to ensure training events meet accreditation requirements.
