Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design unit electrical systems for commercial HVAC products, including main and auxiliary control panels. You will specify components, wiring, and integration of sensors and control electronics, producing design documents and ensuring production readiness.

You will guide designers and technicians, coordinate with product planning and support teams, and ensure compliance with agency approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years electrical engineering work experience.
• Basic project management skills and awareness of project status, risks, and obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit electrical designs for HVAC products and control panels.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate with designers, technicians, and product teams.
• Perform transformer load calculations, wiring layouts, and component selection.
• Prepare test plans, documentation, and reports for production release.
