Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design unit electrical systems for HVAC products, including control panels and power components. You will generate design drawings, test documentation, and product release packages while coordinating cross-functional teams to meet milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering/Technology or Engineering Physics and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or Engineering Physics is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with Trane Commercial Chillers, Rooftops and Air Handler products.
• Develop control box layouts, wire harness routes, and transformer load calculations.
• Develop lab test plans and analyze test data.
• Lead designers, technicians and other team members.
• Coordinate agency and regulatory approval processes.
• Prepare engineering drawings and standards for electrical parts.
