Dallas Mechanical Group (DMG) seeks a Project Manager to lead onsite HVAC construction and maintenance projects across Texas. You will plan, schedule, budget, and coordinate with field teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.

The role demands strong leadership, communication, and safety oversight to meet client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, hands-on experience reading drawings, and knowledge of construction codes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct project activities with Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, and Department Managers.
• Set project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Represent the company in project meetings and strategy discussions.
• Manage procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Interpret plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients.
• Develop project schedules and track progress to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with engineers to produce shop drawings from architectural plans.
• Communicate with customers and contractors during the project.
• Monitor budgets and ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate on safety plans and implement project-specific safety measures.
• Prepare and distribute RFPs for subcontractors and review proposals.
• Maintain open communication with customers about potential future projects.
• Negotiate subcontract changes per contract requirements.
• Generate cost codes and track WIP statistics for monthly meetings.
