Job summary

Dallas Mechanical Group, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, is seeking an onsite Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC projects in Texas. You will plan, direct, coordinate, and budget construction activities, ensuring quality and timelines align with client specifications.

The role requires reading drawings, managing subcontractors, developing safety plans, and maintaining strong communication with customers. Strong organization and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Must have knowledge of the appropriate codes and standards which govern design and operating requirements.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and budget project activities.
• Work with Superintendents, Foremen and others to organize project tasks.
• Represent company in project and strategy meetings.
• Manage requisition of supplies and materials.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff and clients.
• Develop schedules and track progress in the field.
• Collaborate with engineers to produce shop drawings.
• Communicate with customers during the project.
• Manage budgets and ensure products meet specs.
• Review subcontractor proposals and finalize scopes of work.
