Job summary
Actalent is seeking an HSE Specialist to support Health, Safety, and Environmental programs at our Scottsdale, AZ site. This permanent onsite position requires presence Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with some flexibility.
You will develop safety systems, conduct audits, and support incident investigations while partnering with employees and leadership to strengthen the safety culture across the plant.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years in health and safety roles.
- Experience with safety investigations including incident and near-miss analysis.
- At least 2 years of safety and environmental audits and inspections.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- BS degree in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a science-related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety systems to enhance workplace safety.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support and conduct incident investigations, including analysis of incidents and near-misses.
- Collaborate with employees and leadership to promote and strengthen safety culture.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding health and safety issues.
