Job summary

Actalent is seeking an EHS Specialist to join the manufacturing team in Janesville, WI. The role supports safety programs, inspections, training, and compliance to maintain a safe, compliant environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in EHS within manufacturing, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and experience with JHAs and incident investigations. This onsite role offers full-time benefits and growth in EHS expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or closely related field required.
2+ years in manufacturing environment.
2+ years in an EHS role.
Experience in incident investigations.
Experience with JHAs or safety evaluations.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
Ability to maintain safety programs and documentation.
Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with Safety Committee meetings and follow-up on action items.
Support development and maintenance of LOTO procedures and documentation.
Coordinate and track employee safety training to support OSHA and internal requirements.
Participate in inspections and audits to identify hazards and improvements.
Assist with incident investigations and track corrective actions.
Support hazard assessments and JHAs to ensure proper controls.
Promote a positive safety culture with operations and EHS teams.
Maintain safety records and compliance documentation.
Contribute to risk assessments and safety improvements.
