Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Manager, Environmental Health & Safety for its Scottsdale, Arizona facility. The role leads the EHS team and partners with site leadership to build a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace as the site moves from start-up to full operations.

The position oversees environmental programs, audits, and training, and requires extensive EHS experience in manufacturing or high-tech environments, plus strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in health and safety or related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or high-tech environments.
• Experience leading EHS professionals or cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with environmental programs including air, water, waste, and hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EHS leader for the Scottsdale facility and advise site management on compliance and risk.
• Lead and develop the Scottsdale EHS team; set priorities and coach members.
• Establish EHS programs for a new facility including procedures, inspections, and training.
• Define future EHS strategy to support growth and operations.
• Partner with design, construction, and facilities to integrate EHS into layouts and systems.
• Influence executives, employees, contractors, and regulators on EHS matters.
• Use data and field observations to identify trends and drive improvement actions.
