RTX in Rome, NY is seeking an HR Employee Partner to support employees and leaders across two NY locations with surge support for the Northeast. This onsite role requires liaising with the local union at the Rome facility and ensuring compliance with the CBA.

The successful candidate will advise on HR policies, performance management, and workplace practices, lead investigations, and coach leaders to build high-performing teams while partnering with HR to drive engagement and organizational

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience with workplace investigations, conflict resolution, employee engagement, and building strong partnerships across teams
• Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA), labor relations, or employee relations matters

Responsibilities

• Advise business leaders on HR policies, performance management, and labor relations.
• Manage CBAs and negotiate or interpret provisions with union leadership.
• Lead investigations and grievance procedures ensuring timely, objective outcomes.
• Coach leaders on employee relations and development to build high-performing teams.
• Partner to address workforce concerns using data-driven insights and engagement strategies.
• Support annual compensation planning and workforce planning initiatives.
