Job summary

Qcells USA Corp. in Georgia is seeking an HR Specialist to provide day-to-day tactical and administrative support to the HR department, focusing on compliance tracking, auditing, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations.

This on-site role will split time between Carterville and Dalton, GA, ensuring records, documentation, and processes comply with labor laws and internal policies. You will support HRIS data integrity and standard reporting while serving as a reliable contact for routine

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 0–2 years of HR experience (internship, co-op, or entry-level acceptable)
• Foundational understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, EEOC)
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-service mindset
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations.
• Coordinate and execute onboarding for new hires with notices and training.
• Support updates of HR policies and handbooks; track policy acknowledgments.
• Provide administrative support for performance reviews and documentation.
• Track compliance training completion and assist with scheduling sessions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in the HRIS.
• Generate standard compliance reports and HR metrics for decisions.
• Monitor labor legislation updates and liaise with counsel or regulatory filings.
• Perform additional HR compliance tasks as assigned.
