Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group seeks an on-site HR Business Partner to lead HR for a Pittsburgh-area plant. You will partner with plant management, support hourly and salaried staff, and drive local HR initiatives.

The role focuses on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance, with a path to broader HR oversight across multiple sites. Local candidates preferred; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HR experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Local candidate; relocation not offered.
• Union environment experience preferred; candidates without it who can learn will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees.
• Coach plant leaders through employee relations issues, performance conversations, and conflict.
• Work alongside corporate HR on union grievances and labor relations.
• Drive site-level recruiting, onboarding, and retention.
• Keep the site in line with employment law and company policy.
• Stay visible on the production floor so employees know who to come to.
• Help roll out HR systems and process improvements.
• Report site trends and concerns up to HR leadership.
