Job summary

PetSmart is seeking an HR Specialist to partner with the DC leadership team and drive HR initiatives on-site at the distribution center. You will coach leaders, support engagement, and manage hourly talent, performance, and relations to ensure a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience in Human Resources or related experience for a retail function preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support HR strategy and culture for the DC.
• Provide HR consulting to the operations leadership team.
• Coach leaders and advocate for associates.
• Collaborate on floor-level relationships and partnerships.
• Support hourly talent and performance management.
• Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning for hourly roles.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and improvements.
• Assist with risk mitigation and policy adherence.
