Job summary

PetSmart Store Support Group, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to serve the Distribution Center. You will partner with DC leadership to develop and deliver HR strategies, workforce planning, and talent initiatives.

The role focuses on change management, leadership development, employee relations, performance management, and engagement to improve organizational effectiveness and retention across 400+ non-exempt associates and 40+ leaders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of HR or related experience.
• BA/BS in Human Resources preferred; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Experience in organizational planning, change management and leadership development.
• Distribution center experience preferred.
• Ability to influence and coach at all levels.
• Flexible and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sr. HR Manager to develop and deliver HR strategy for the DC.
• Use metrics and analytics to assess organization health and plan improvements.
• Provide HR strategic support and coaching to DC leadership.
• Collaborate with DC Leadership and HRM on associate relations.
• Advise management on organizational planning, salary administration, and leadership development.
• Promote positive work environment and responsive issue resolution.
• Identify training needs and facilitate leadership development.
• Support talent management and performance management initiatives.
