Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. seeks a people leader to provide professional, ethical leadership in Human Resources at the Waseca, MN site. You will partner with site leadership to balance operational goals with employee needs while supporting AS9100 and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

Provide leadership in Human Resources to support departmental goals, the Operations plan, and broader company objectives. Oversee compensation, recruitment, training, and policy implementation to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in business or HR
• 3 to 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Develop, recommend, implement, and administer HR plans, procedures, and policy materials.
• Ensure employment, safety, employee relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies comply with laws.
• Evaluate HR reports, decisions, and results against Operations and business goals.
• Plan, organize, and control HR activities for continual improvement.
• Coordinate safety programs and benefits with Accounting.
• Participate in staff meetings and act as a liaison on committees.
• Manage annual compensation programs, salary surveys, and career development.
• Conduct recruitment for exempt and non-exempt personnel and interns.
• Oversee onboarding, employee relations counseling, and outsourcing like drug tests.
• Support EEO documentation and equal employment opportunity outreach.
• Maintain records and compile HR statistics across processes.
• Manage training needs assessment and AS9100-aligned development.
• Investigate ethics or harassment claims and document outcomes.
• Support succession planning and coach managers in performance management.
• Direct HR staff and mentoring; oversee payroll and office facilities.
• Review and endorse department plans and progress with leadership.
