South Bay Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for a precision manufacturing operation serving semiconductor, medical devices, and advanced tech hardware.

You will partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape people strategy, workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee relations. This on-site role emphasizes compliance with California laws, performance management, leadership development, and programs for compensation, benefits,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; advanced degree preferred.
7-10 years progressive HR experience with leadership roles.
Manufacturing/regulatory environment experience preferred.
Experience with HR metrics and KPIs.
Experience with ISO 9001/13485 or similar quality-management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead HR function, establish ownership, priorities, service standards, and accountability across the HR team.
Partner with CEO and leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives and growth plans.
Develop annual and quarterly HR goals, metrics, and action plans for executive leadership.
Lead, coach, and develop the HR team with clear roles and career development.
Own recruiting strategy and workforce planning for manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations.
Forecast staffing needs, prioritize requisitions, define candidate profiles, and ensure timely hiring decisions.
Build talent pipelines with technical schools, colleges, and agencies.
Use recruiting data to improve time to hire, cost per hire, offer acceptance, quality of hire, and retention.
Advise on employee relations matters, investigations, and performance concerns.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; manage leave processes with HRIS.
Own performance-management framework, goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
Develop tools for feedback, documentation, accountability, and recognition.
Coach managers on performance conversations and leadership practices.
Set training strategy, maintain training matrix for compliance and leadership development.
Oversee design, scheduling, records, and measurement of training programs.
Support organizational development and change-management initiatives.
Lead compensation planning and market benchmarking; oversee benefits, leave, payroll changes, and HRIS processes.
Collaborate with Finance on bonus programs and retention strategies.
Review benefits offerings and renewals to balance value and cost.
