Job summary

Fibrebond, an Eaton company, seeks a Senior HR Generalist to support our manufacturing campus in Minden, LA. This onsite role blends employee relations, compliance, recruiting, benefits administration, and organizational development to foster a high-performance culture.

You will drive HR initiatives, manage day-to-day employee relations, and coordinate recruitment for hourly and salaried roles while aligning with corporate guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) or more years of human resources experience in manufacturing operations.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position (no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.).
• Preferred: Bachelor's in HR, SHRM/PHR certification, knowledge of HRIS, employment laws, and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recommend, plan, implement and coordinate HR programs and policies per guidelines.
• Support recruitment, personnel records, employee relations, compensation, benefits, organization development, training, and special projects.
• Develop and disseminate HR policies and procedures to employees.
• Prepare reports per legislated requirements or organizational needs.
• Coordinate recruitment for open hourly or salary positions and assist in promotions.
• Handle day-to-day employee relations issues and maintain affirmative action plans.
• Serve as liaison with service centers and benefit providers.
• Facilitate employee orientation and support inclusion and diversity activities.
• Assist in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives in HR.
