Job summary

Trafera, LLC is seeking an onsite Human Resources Generalist in Arden Hills, MN to help keep payroll and benefits running smoothly and to strengthen HR data quality through HRIS stewardship.

You will contribute to workforce reporting that supports planning and regulatory needs, process bi‑weekly payroll, administer health and welfare programs, 401(k), LOA, and maintain confidential employee records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant HR field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of progressive HR Coordinator or Specialist experience focusing on payroll and benefits and regulatory reporting.
• Trust and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Proven contribution to continuous improvement projects and organizational transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication and ability to work in a fast‑paced team.
• Ability to travel Nationwide when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit bi‑weekly payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Administer employee benefits programs including health, welfare, 401(k) and LOA processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits questions.
• Maintain HRIS and employee records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Assist with workforce reporting, dashboards, and metrics on headcount, turnover, compensation, leave and benefits.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to reconcile data and provide insights.
• Support annual HR processes such as open enrollment and year‑end payroll activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and automation.
• Provide support and clear communication across the organization.
• Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
