Sumiriko Ohio Inc in Bluffton, OH is seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to manage daily HR needs for Associates at the Bluffton manufacturing facility. This onsite role supports management with HR policies, training, attendance, and compliance in an open-office environment, with a split-shift from 11am to 8pm.

You will serve as a key contact between Associates and upper management, coordinate training and workforce needs, and help recruit, train, and retain talent while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, or Social Work.
• 3+ years HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Knowledge of FMLA and EOE guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Preference for HRIS or talent management systems (ADP ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support for Associates at the Bluffton plant.
• Coordinate recruiting, training, and retention efforts.
• Partner with management to enforce HR policies and compliance.
• Support training programs and safety initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle duties with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to HR goals and reporting.
