Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Associate HR Generalist to support a growing Oral Care operation in Kentwood, Michigan. This hands-on HR role covers employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and daily HR operations in a regulated manufacturing setting.

You will partner with managers, maintain records, assist with leave and benefits questions, and contribute to continuous improvement projects while upholding GMP requirements and confidential handling of employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience with employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and HR compliance.
• Manufacturing/regulatory environment experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment law.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR resource for employees and managers on policies, performance, attendance, and workplace concerns.
• Support employee relations matters, investigations, and performance issues.
• Partner with hiring managers on recruiting, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Support performance management, employee development, training, and recognition initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data; assist with reporting and audits.
• Assist with leave management, accommodations, documentation, and benefits questions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and operations leaders on workforce planning and HR initiatives.
• Support GMP requirements and HR impact in a regulated environment.
• Handle HR administrative tasks including communications, timecards, badges, mail, and employee programs.
• Monitor HR inbox and ensure timely responses; participate in HR projects.
