Job summary

Haversack Logistics is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations at its Davidson, NC location. This full-time, onsite role blends core people functions with administrative duties to help ensure hiring, compliance, and employee programs run smoothly.

The ideal candidate will handle recruiting coordination, background checks, benefits and leave administration, training documentation, new hire onboarding, and assisting with office operations.

Responsibilities

• Run daily HR functions including hiring and interviewing support.
• Administer pay, benefits, and leave administration while enforcing policies.
• Coordinate interviews with managers and understand required skills.
• Conduct or obtain background checks and eligibility verifications.
• Support new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Perform HR tasks across compensation, benefits, leave, and investigations.
• Handle inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors.
• Attend disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
• Stay current on HR trends and technologies.
