Job summary

Reyes Automotive Group LLC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide full-cycle HR support onsite in San Antonio, TX. You will serve as the primary HR contact, manage staffing, onboarding, leave programs, and HRIS/ATS/LMS transactions to maintain data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced environment; PHR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field (or equivalent education/experience).
• 3+ years HR Generalist experience in fast-paced, multi-cultural environment, preferably manufacturing.
• PHR preferred.
• Proficiency with HRIS, Time & Attendance/Payroll, ATS, and LMS (Paylocity preferred).
• Strong analytical, planning, and critical thinking skills; continuous improvement mindset.
• Must read/write/speak English; bilingual EN/ES preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact; provide customer service to internal and external HR customers.
• Monitor and update staffing charts; support hiring for assigned searches.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation.
• Manage onboarding, temporary staff conversions, and offboarding processes.
• Review timecards and ensure timely closing; run HR system transactions as a key user.
• Assist employees with inquiries on policies, benefits, payroll, and HR self-service system access.
• Administer leave programs including FMLA and PTO/sick leave.
• Support retention initiatives and plan employee events; communicate with staff.
